SSL Login for SmarterMail & SmarterStats

For enhanced security, we recently added a new SSL (Secure Socket Layer) feature to both the SmarterMail and SmarterStats web interfaces. Now, you can login securely by typing in the secure URL directly into any standard browser.

You can also use the SSL login for SmarterMail via the web by typing in https://mailXX.webcontrolcenter.com into your browser. The ‘XX’ corresponds to the number of your mail server. Email us for your code

By using a secure login to both your email and statistics, you will have an encrypted connection to our servers. This provides an enhanced level of security for your login information as it cannot be intercepted by third parties and used to exploit your email and stats services. However, when it comes to sending mail, please understand that using a SSL connection to webmail only encrypts your connection to the mail server from within your web browser and does not encrypt any email that is sent.

required maintenance

This message serves as notification that on Sunday, July 16th between 2:00 and 5:00 am MST (GMT -7), we will be performing required maintenance on the web server. Due to the maintenance and reboots required, the server may experience approximately 15 to 30 minutes of intermittent availability. This maintenance is required to circumvent any potential future issues.

Additionally, on the following evening, Monday, July 17th, we will follow-up at 2:00 am to perform additional maintenance. Due to the maintenance and reboots required, the server may experience approximately 1 to 2 hours of intermittent availability. Although every attempt is made to resolve issues as efficiently as possible, this particular incident requires two separate windows of priority maintenance for a resolution.

Both of these maintenance windows are required to prevent any potential future issues.

scheduled upgrade

I wanted to let you know that there will be an update on our shared servers on Monday, January 16th, 2006 starting at 3:00 am central.

The update is to increase the stability of the server and has some added featutes for sites using Perl. I do not anticipate the upgrade to affect any customer but if you find items not working properly on your site, please notify me immediately.

The upgrade is a part of the server's commitment to deliver upgrades and improvements to customers as quickly and easily as possible.

server maintenance

We wanted to let you know that on Monday, November 21st, at 3:00 AM, we will be performing some maintenance on the segment of the network housing a portion of our domains.

Please be aware that your server will require a reboot due to the maintenance being performed, resulting in approximately 30 minutes of downtime. This maintenance is required to keep this server performing at a peak level, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
